Günümüzde insanlar doğal ortamlarda dinlenme arayışı içine girmişler ve doğal alanlara yönelik turizm aktivitelerini tercih eder olmuşlardır. Jeolojik ve jeomorfolojik ögelerin kendine özgü yapıları bilimsel, eğitsel ve ilgi çekici örnekleriyle bilim insanları ve doğaseverler için özel bir ilgi odağı olmaktadır. Doğal ve kültürel kaynakların jeopark ve jeoturizm yoluyla değerlendirilmesi güncel ve geçerli bir yaklaşımdır. Çalışmada önemli jeolojik-jeomorfolojik ögeleri, doğal, kültürel ve tarihi değerleriyle KızılcahamamÇamlıdere jeopark alanı ve yakın çevresi incelenmiştir. Bölgede jeolojik mirasa ilişkin farkındalığın oluşturulması ve bölge turizm potansiyelinin jeoturizm yoluyla sürdürülebilir kalkınma sağlaması amacıyla önerilerde bulunulmuştur

Geological and geomorphologic structure of the uniqueelements of scientific, educational and interesting examples is the focus of special interest to scientistsand nature lovers. Natural and cultural resources evaluation of geoparks and geotourism is a current andvalid approach. In this study examined area of Kizilcahamam-Camlıdere geoparks and surroundings important geological-geomorphologic elements, natural, cultural and historical values. Creation ofawareness of geological heritage in the region and tourism potential of the region in order to ensuresustainable development through geotourism suggestions were made
