Beden Eğitimi Öğretmeni Adaylarının Öğretmen Toplumsallaşması Yolculuklarının Hikayeleri

Beden eğitimi öğretmen adaylarının mesleklerine hazırlanma süreçlerini anlamak için iş toplumsallaşması sürecini anlamanın önemi üzerine çalışmaları uzun yıllardır yapılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte öğretmen adaylarının sürece pasif dahil edilmeleri, öğretmen eğitimi programlarında subjektif teorilerinin devamlığında ısrar edilmesi ve öğretmen eğitimi programlarının standartları ve gerekliliklerini karşılamaya yönelik baskılar üzerine araştırmaların arttırılmasına yönelik ihtiyaç devam etmektedir. Değişen şartlar ve öğretmen adaylarının özelliklerin Buradan yola çıkarak bu anlatı araştırmasının amacı; iki beden eğitimi öğretmen adayının öğretmen toplumsallaşması süreçlerini keşfetmektir. Daha spesifik olarak öğretmen adaylarının toplumsallaşma süreçlerindeki dönüşümlerini ve bu süreçteki farklı paydaşların rollerini derinlemesine anlamaktır. Kahramanın sonsuz yolculuğu yapısı ile analiz edilen veriler otoetnografi, lisans eğitimi boyunca tutulan akademik günlük, kültürleşme sürecini ortaya koyan video, fotoğraflar ve bireysel görüşmeler aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının kültürleşme süreçlerinde ailenin etkisinin destekleyici olabileceği gibi bu çalışmada engelleyici de olabildiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretmen, antrenör gibi spora yönlendirici aktörler de performans odaklı olmalarından dolayı öğretmen adayları ya spor ortamından uzaklaşmış ya da kendilerini onlara karşı güçlendirmek zorunda kalmışlardır. Öğretmen eğitimi programında bir öğretmen adayı farklı alan deneyimlerini öğretmenlik alanına dönüştürürken diğer öğretmen adayı mesleki yetkinliklerini arttırarak toplumsallaşmasını tamamlamıştır. Toplumsallaşma süreci her bireye özgü olacağından farklı paydaşlar işbirlikçi çalışarak öğretmen adaylarının toplumsallaşma sürecini kaliteli hale getirebilir.

Stories of Physical Education Teacher Education Students' Journeys of Teacher Socialization

The importance of understanding the process of occupational socialisation to understand the preparation of pre-service physical education teachers for their profession has been studied for many years. However, there is still a need for increased research on the passive involvement of pre-service teachers, the persistence of subjective theories in teacher education programs, and the pressures to meet the standards and requirements of teacher education programs. Given the changing circumstances and the characteristics of pre-service teachers, this narrative research aimed to explore the processes of teacher socialisation of two pre-service physical education teachers. More specifically, to understand in depth the transformations of pre-service teachers in their socialisation process and the roles of different stakeholders in this process. The data analysed with the structure of the hero's endless journey were collected through autoethnography, an academic diary, videos and photographs revealing the acculturation process, and individual interviews In the acculturation processes of pre-service teachers, it has been revealed that the influence of the family can be supportive, but in this study, it can also be obstructive. Since sport-oriented actors such as teachers and coaches were performance-oriented, pre-service teachers either distanced themselves from the sport environment or had to strengthen themselves against them. In the teacher education program, while one pre-service teacher transformed their different field experiences into the teaching field, the other pre-service teacher completed their socialisation by increasing their professional competencies. Since the socialisation process will be unique to each individual, different stakeholders can make the socialisation process of pre-service teachers high quality by working collaboratively.
