Eski Türkçeden Günümüz Türkçesine Yapılan Zarffiil ve Sıfatfiil Kelime Gruplarının Aktarmaları Üzerine (Türk Runik Harfli Metinlerdeki Örnekler)

Some translations of converb and participle clauses from Old Turkic into contemporary Turkish have been analysed according to the diachronic comparative and functional linguistic methods. So some suggestions have been proposed on linguistics and the theory of translation. Some methodological thoughts on the translations into Turkish have been proposed in a limited grammatical area. Especially the usage of the said language units having some literal values in written texts have been stressed in old and contemporary Turkish. Firstly in theory and practise, participial and converbal clauses must be identified. Then, these clauses and investigated sentences must be searched for their deep structure. So investigated sentences can be classified into semantic and structural qualifications. Old Turkic sentences with converbal and participial clauses must also be translated to contemporary Turkish with the sentences including the same clauses. At the end of the translation process the spirit of language must be protected.
