Göçle beraber açığa çıkan kültürel farklılıkların etkileri, diğer sektörlerde olduğu gibi sağlık sektöründe de yansıma bulmaktadır. Göçmenin sağlığı; ait olduğu etnik sınıftan, göç sürecinden ve içinde bulunduğu sosyal durumdan etkilenmektedir. Bu nedenle hemşireler göçmenleri öncelikli grup olarak kabul etmeli, yaşam tarzlarını, sağlık davranışlarını bilmeli ve sağlık hizmetlerine erişimde kolaylık sağlamalıdır.

The effect on the immigration on the health can not be ignored and immigration is evaluated as an important social factor which affect the health of individuals. The impacts of cultural diversity revealed after migration have a broad repercussion in health sector as in other segments of the society. The health of immigrants is influenced by his original ethnic society, migration process and his current social status. Consequently, nurses should consider the immigrants as primary group. They should be familiar with the modes of living and health behaviors of the immigrants and facilitate the provision of health care.
