Locally Closed Sets and *-Locally Closed Continuous Functions in Topological Spaces

In this paper, we introduce y*-locally closed sets and different notions of generalizations of continuous functions in a topological space and study some of their properties. Several examples are given to illustrate the behavior of these new classes of functions. Also, we define y*-submaximal spaces.
