Toplumun Sosyodemografik Yapısının Covid 19 Pandemisi Hakkında Bilgi Düzeyi, Kaygı Ve Beklentilere Etkisi

Covid-19 salgını toplumun tüm değerlerini direk veya dolaylı yönden etkilemiştir. Çalışma 15 haziran 2020-30haziran 2020 tarihleri arasında "WatsApp" uygulaması üzerinden açık erişimli anket yöntemi ile gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak planlandı. Google anket formu uygulaması kullanılarak; toplumun bilgi seviyesi, endişeleri ve gelecek beklentilerini tespit etmeye yönelik toplam 28 soru ve üç bölümden oluşan anket formu hazırlandı. Toplam 812 kişi anketi doldurdu. Anket formunun birinci kısmında yanıtlar irdelendiğinde, katılanların 501 (%61,7)’i erkek, 311 (%38,3)’i ise kadındı. Gönüllülerin büyük çoğunluğu 35-50 yaş aralığında, %68,7’si il merkezinden, %24,5’i ilçe merkezinde ikamet etmekteydi. Altmış faklı il ve 35 farklı meslek grubundan dahil olan katılımcıların çoğunluğunu kamu çalışanı, ev hanımı ve öğrenciler oluşturmaktaydı. Eğitim düzeyleri irdelendiğinde ise çoğunluğu lisans eğitimi almış katılımcıdan oluşmaktaydı. Aylık gelir beyanında çoğunluğu 3000-5000 tl aylık geliri olan gönüllüler oluşturmaktaydı.Toplumun sosyodemografik yapısının salgına bağlı anksiyete kontrolünde önmeli bir unsur olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

The Effect of Sociodemographic Structure of the Society on the Level of Knowledge, Anxiety and Expectations About the COVID-19 Pandemic

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has directly or indirectly affected all values of the society. The aim of our study is to determine the effect of sociodemographic characteristics of our society on the level of knowledge, concerns and expectations about the COVID-19 outbreak.Materials and Methods: The study was planned on a voluntary basis with an open access survey method via the "Whatsapp" application. Using the Google survey form application; A questionnaire consisting of three sections and 28 questions was prepared to determine the knowledge level, concerns and future expectations of the society. A total of 812 people participated in the study.Results: When the answers were examined in the first part of the questionnaire, 501 (61.7%) of the participants were male and 311 (38.3%) were female. The majority of the volunteers were between the ages of 35-50, 68.7% were living in the city center and 24.5% were residing in the district center. Volunteers from sixty different provinces and 35 different professions were involved. The majority of the participants consisted of public servants, housewives and students. When the education levels were examined, the majority of them consisted of participants with undergraduate education. The majority of the monthly income statement consisted of volunteers with a monthly income of 3000-5000 TL.Conclusions: It was concluded that the sociodemographic structure of the society is an important factor in the control of anxiety related to the epidemic.
