Deli Bal Zehirlenmeleri Genel Özellikler, Ulusal ve Uluslararası Literatürün İncelenmesi

Deli bal zehirlenmelerinde tipik zehirlenme tablosu; gastrointesti¬nal sistem irritasyonu, kardiyak aritmiler ve nörolojik belirtilerden oluşur. Ender olgu sunumlarında da deli bal ze-hirlenmesine bağlı hepatotoksisite, asistoli, miyokard enfarktüsü, elektrokardiyografik ST segment değişiklikleri, atriyal fibrilasyon, AV tam blok, senkop ve geçici iskemik atak benzeri tablo bildirilen vakalar mevcuttur. Toksik etkiler balın içerdiği grayanotok¬sinlerden kaynaklanır. Bu derlemede ülkemizde özellikle doğu karadeniz bölgesinde yoğun olarak karşılaşılan ve acil servislerde hayati tehtid eden deli bal zehirlenmelerinin genel özelliklerini literatür eşliğinde tartışmayı amaçladık.

A typical course of poisoning consists of gastrointestinal system irritation, cardiac arrhythmias, and neurological symptoms. There are also reports of patients with hepatotoxicity, asystole, myocardial infarction, electrocardiographic ST-segment changes, atrial fibrillation, AV complete block, syncope and transient ischemic attack-like symptoms caused by mad honeypoisoning in rare case reports. The toxic effects are caused by the Grayanotoxin contained in the honey. In this review, we have tried to discuss the matter of mad honey poisoning, that is a serious threat in emergency services which occurs in east blacksea region.
