Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Sosyal Fizik Kaygı ile Beslenme Davranışları Arasındaki İlişki

Bu çalışma, Tahran üniversitenin kız ve erkek öğrencilerinde sosyal fiziksel kaygı ile beslenme davranışları arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmayı amaçlamıştır. Araştırma betimsel-ilişkiseldir. Çalışmanın denekleri 2020 yılında Sosyal Fizik Kaygı ve Yeme Bozuklukları'nı tamamlamış öğrenciler içerisinden rastgele seçilen 221 (kız (n=110), erkek (n=111)) (ortalama: 21.12 ± 2.6) kişiden oluşturmaktadır. Verileri toplarken Sosyal Fizik Kaygı Ölçeği ile beslenme davranışlarını değerlendirmek için Garner ve Garfinkel 26 maddelik Yeme Bozukluğu anketi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için Pearson korelasyon testi, K-S testine dayalı verilerin normalliği nedeniyle, bağımsız t-testi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, üst ekstremite sosyal fiziksel kaygısı olan kızlarda yeme bozukluğu olduğunu göstermiştir (r = 0.20, P≥0.05). Öte yandan, üst ekstremite sosyal fiziksel kaygısı olan erkek çocuklarda aşırı yeme yeme davranışı olduğu görülmüştür (r = 0.15, P≥0.05). Diğer bileşenlerde ise önemli bir fark gözlenmemiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, sosyal fizik kaygısı yüksek olan kızların diyet davranışları geliştirme olasılığı daha yüksektir. Ancak sosyal fizik kaygısı yüksek olan erkek çocuklarda aşırı yeme davranışı görülmektedir.
