The gynecological problems of adolescents who admitted to Samsun maternity hospital This study was performed to describe gynecologic problems of the adolescents in the Maternity Hospital, Samsun. For this purpose 2710 adolescents, 12 to 19 years old, admitted between 1989 and 1992, were included in the study, and 27 (27 %) had gy¬necological problems which were classified in four main categories, 7 % of the cases had general gynecological problems, 40 % had reproductive endocrinology and inferti¬lity problems, 2 % had neoplasms of genital tractus and 1 % had congenital abnormali¬ties of the genitallia. General gynecological problems included sexual problems (41 %), pelvic inflamatory diseases (11%), vulvovaginitis (10%) and mammarian diseases (1%). Bu çalışma, Samsun Doğum ve Çocuk Bakımevinde adolesanlarm jinekolojik sorun-larının tanımlanması için yapıldı. Bu amaçla 1989-1992 yıllan arasında hastaneye başvuran ve yaşlan 12-19 arasında değişen 2710 adolesan araştırmaya alındı. Jine-kolojik sorunu olan 727 (% 27) olgunun % 57'sinde genel jinekolojik sorunlar, % 40'ında reprodüktif endokrinoloji-infertilite sorunları, % 2'sinde genital organ tümörleri ve % l'inde de genital organ konjenital anomalileri olduğu saptandı. Genel ji¬nekolojik sorunlar grubu içinde seksüel sorunlar (% 41), pelvik inflamatuar has¬talıklar (% 11), vulvovajinitler (% 10) ve meme hastalıklan (% 1) yer almaktaydı
