Karpal tünel sendromu olan hastalarda ortalama trombosit hacmi ve diğer hemogram sonuçlarının karşılaştırılması

Amaç: Karpal tünel sendromu (KTS) el bileği düzeyinde median sinirin, transvers karpal ligamanın altından geçtiği seviyede sıkışması ile oluşur. KTS en sık görülen tuzak nöropati tipidir. Ortalama trombosit hacmi (MPV), trombosit aktivasyonu ve fonksiyonu için pozitif yönde önemli bir göstergedir. Bu çalışmada KTS tanısı konulan hastalarda artmış trombosit aktivasyonunun ve bu doğrultuda artmış trombosit hacminin KTS'nin varlığında önemli bir belirteç olup olamayacağı araştırılmak istenmiştir.Yöntemler: Bu çalışmaya 418 KTS tanısı konulan hasta ve 120 kontrol grubu olmak üzere 538 kişi alındı. The comparison of mean platelet volume and other hemogram results in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome

Objective: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is formed by the compression of median nerve passes under the level of the transverse carpal ligament at the level of the wrist. CTS is the most common type of entrapment neuropathy. Mostly underlying cause of this entrapment is unknown. Mean platelet volume (MPV), is an important indicator in a positive direction for platelet activation and function. In this study, increased thrombocyte activation due to increased mean thrombocyte volume is whether an important indicator for CTS diagnosis or not was researched.Methods: In this study, 418 patients diagnosed with CTS and 120 controls were enrolled, including 538 people.
