Akut Böbrek Yetmezliği Tanısı İle İzlenen İki Yenidoğanda Rasburikaz Kullanımı

Akut böbrek yetmezliği morbidite ve mortalitesi yüksek bir hastalıktır. Akut böbrek yetmezliği; yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde izlenen bebeklerde % 6-11 sıklıkla görülür. Bu bebeklerde serumda ürik asit yüksekliğine sık rastlanılır. Tümör lizis sendromu olan hiperürisemili yenidoğan ve infantların rasburikaz ile tedavi edildiği vaka raporları ile bildirilmiştir. Rasburikaz hiperüriseminin izlendiği akut böbrek yetmezliği tanısı alan iki yenidoğanımızın tedavisinde başarı ile kullanılmıştır.

Rasburicase in The Treatment of Acute Renal Failure in Two Newborns

Acute renal failure is a frequent clinical condition in NICU’s characterized by significant morbidity and mortality. The frequency of acute renal failure in newborn infants is estimated to be between %6 and %11 in neonatal intensive care units. Hyperuricemia is observed frequently in infants with acute renal failure. There are a few reports describing successful use of rasburicase in infants and neonates for hyperurecemia in tumor lysis syndrome. In this case, we conclude that rasburicase treatment for hyperuricemia in infant with renal failure.
