Cezayir Deneyiminin Pierre Bourdieu'nün Sosyolojik Tahayyülüne Etkileri: Bilimsel Bir Habitusun Doğuşu
Pierre Bourdieu sosyolojisinin oluşumunda Cezayir döneminin çok önemli bir rol oynadığı, kendisi de dahil olmak üzere birçok yazarın üzerinde hemfikir olduğu bir olgu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Savaş ve sömürgecilik koşullarında gerçekleştirilen bu ilk çalışmalar, sosyoloğun sadece bilimsel yaklaşımını değil, siyasal konumlanışını da etkilemiştir. Sadece çözülmekte olan bir toplumsal yapıyı değil, bu çözülme karşısında geliştirilen tutumları da göz önüne alan bu çalışmalar, özellikle habitus kavramının geliştirilmesinde temel bir rol oynamıştır. Bourdieu sosyolojisinin anahtar kavramlarından olan düşünümsellik ilkesinin önemli buyruklarından biri, araştırmacının konumunu, araştırma evreninin bütünüyle birlikte değerlendirmektir. Bu makalede, sosyoloğun henüz kendine has kavramlar bütününü geliştirmemiş olduğu dönemde araştırma nesnelerini ve araştırmacı olarak konumunu belirleyen tarihsel koşullar incelenmektedir. Bu inceleme, bir anlamda Bourdieu'nün bilimsel habitusunun doğuş koşullarını da yeniden inşa etme çabasına bir katkı oluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Influences of Pierre Bourdieu's Algerian Experience on His Sociological Imagination: Birth of a Scientific Habitus
Many authors, including Pierre Bourdieu, agreed that his “Algerian period” had a formative role on his sociological thought. These early studies conducted under the conditions of war and colonialism, not only influenced the scientific approach, but also the political positioning of the sociologist. This article shows that a dissolving social structure and the attitudes developed in the face of this dissolution have played a major role, especially in the elaboration of the concept of habitus. One of the imperatives of reflexivity, a key concept for the sociology of Bourdieu, is to evaluate the researcher's position, along with the whole research universe. This article aims to present how the historical conditions of Bourdieu's research objects and his position as a researcher, at a time when a sociologist has not developed his own conceptual tools yet, have influenced and contributed to the birth of Bourdieu's scientific habitus.
