Demirköy yöresi Istranca meşelerinin (Quercus hartwissiana Stev.) fiziksel özellikleri
Bu çalışmada; İstanbul Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü, Demirköy Orman İşletme Müdürlüğü, Macara Orman İşletme Şefliğinden alınan 5 adet Istranca Meşesi deneme ağacı üzerinde ilgili Türk standartlarına göre tespit edilen bazı fiziksel özellikler verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ortalama yıllık halka genişliği 2.56 mm, haya kuru-su yoğunluk 0.711 g/cm3, tam kuru yoğunluk 0.674 g/cm3, hacim ağırlık değeri 0.582 g/cm-1, hücre çeperi hacmi %44.95, hava boşluğu hacmi %55.05, radyal, teğet ve hacim daralma miktarları sırasıyla %5.2, %9.3, %14.5, hacim genişleme miktarı %16.8, lif doygunluğu noktası (LDN) %24.9 ve odunun içerisine alabileceği maksimum su miktarı da % 105.2 olarak bulunmuştur.
The physical properties of ıstranca oak (Quercus hartwissiana Stev.) grown in Demirkoy district
In this study, some physical properties of Istranca oak (Quercus hartwis-siana Stev.) wood were investigated. For this purpose, samples were prepared from 5 trees from the Macara region, Demirköy district, and studied for its physical properties. According to the tests results, the average annual ring width was 2.56 mm, the airdry density 0.711 g/cm3, the ovendry density 0.674 g/cm3, the density value in volume 0.582 g/cm3, the volume of cell wall 44.95%, and the volume of air spaces 55.05%. The ratio of radial, tangential and volumetric shrinkage were 5.2%, 9.3%, and 14.5%, respectively. The fiber saturation point was 24.9% and the maximum water content was 105.2%.
