ZİHNİN GÖZÜYLE GÖRMEK, ZİHNİN KULAĞIYA DUYMAK: BİR TERAPÖTİK TEKNİK OLARAK İMGELEME İLE YENİDEN SENARYOLAŞTIRMA

İmgeleme ile yeniden senaryolaştırma günümüzde özellikle şema terapi uygulamalarında kullanılan fakat farklı kullanım protokolleri de olan bir terapötik tekniktir. Geçmişi 19.yy’a dayansa da 1900’lerin başında daha önemle incelenmiş ve ancak 2000’lerde etkililiği konusunda randomize kontrollü çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Öncelikle bilişsel davranışçı terapiye dirençli travma sonrası stres bozukluğu olgularına yönelik olarak düzenlenmiş ve tek başına bilişsel tekniklere olan üstünlüğü pek çok araştırma ile kanıtlanmıştır. Daha sonraları anksiyete bozuklukları, depresyon, sosyal kaygı, basit fobiler, kabuslar, OKB, yeme bozuklukları, kişilik bozuklukları gibi gibi çok geniş ranjda patolojiler üzerinde denenmiş ve başarılı sonuçlar elde edildiği görülmüştür. Tanımlandığı ilk günden itibaren basit uygulama özelliklerine karşın güçlü etkisine şüpheyle yaklaşılan bu yöntem, temelde mevcut anıların yoğun yükünün neden olduğu olumsuz duygular ve semptomların, anının değiştirilmesi üzerinden iyileştirildiği bir terapi tekniğidir.
