Bu çalışmada, soğutma kulesinde sürüklenen damlacıkların yatay ve düşey hareket denklemleri çıkarılıp, hız bağıntılarını veren ifadeler elde edilmiştir. Damla tutucuların etkinliğini analitik yoldan belirleyen bağıntılar yardımıyla bir bilgisayar programı hazırlanmıştır. Yapılan parametrik analizle damla tutucu etkinliğinin; soğutma kulesinden geçen havanın hızı, sürüklenen damlacıkların boyutu ve damla tutucu geometrisiyle değişimi bulunmuştur.

In this study, the equation of motion of the droplets which drift at the cooling towers in the horizontal and vertical directions has derived and the expressions of the velocity equations were obtained. A computer program has been prepared for numerical determination of the drift eliminator's efficiency. By the parametrical analysis, the parameters of drift eliminator efficiency are found as air velocity from cooling towers, droplet diameter of drift and geometry of the drift eliminator variation.
