Marxism and The Concept of Right: an Essay of A Theoretical Approach

This article argues that Marxism retains its relevance in the current period not only as a source of critique that challenges those liberal human rights theories on the basis of the very values of human freedom and dignity but also as a potential source capable of replacing liberal human rights theories. Against this background the study explores the position of right theories in Marxist thought and analyses some controversial issues that are essential for developing a theory dealing with human rights from within Marxism itself
