Ev Esaslı Uzaktan Çalışma: Bursa'da Engelli Belediye Çalışanlarının Algıları

Bu araştırma; engellilerin istihdamının önemini vurgulayan, engelli istihdamının sağlanmasında; yararlanılan istihdam yöntemleri arasında bulunan, ev esaslı uzaktan çalışma evde uzaktan çalışma yöntemine, ne şekilde yaklaşıldığını Bursa ilindeki çeşitli engelli belediye çalışanlarının değerlendirmeleri algıları ışığında sorgulayan bir çalışmadır. Engellilerin çalışma hayatı içinde sahip oldukları konuma dair çeşitli saptamalarda bulunularak çalışmanın temel kurgusu oluşturulmaktadır. Çalışmayla; bilgisayar ve iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi ile gündeme gelen ev esaslı uzaktan çalışma evde uzaktan çalışma yönteminin, evde çalışmayı tercih eden engellilere; erişilebilir ve engelsiz bir çalışma ortamında önyargı ve ayrımcı davranışlara maruz kalmadan istihdam fırsatı sunduğu argümanı sorgulanmaktadır

Home-Based Telecommuting in the Light of the Perceptions of Disabled Municipality Workers in Bursa

This study emphasizes the importance of the employment of the disabled, and investigates how the home based telecommuting telecommuting at home , one of the employment methods used in providing employment for the disabled, is approached in the light of the opinions perceptions of various disabled municipality workers in Bursa. The basic setup of the study is constituted by making various assignments regarding the positions the disabled have within working life. The study also discusses the argument that the home based telecommuting method telecommuting at home , which has come to the forefront with the development of the computer and communication technologies, provide employment opportunities for the disabled, who prefer to work at home in order to work in an accessible and unhindered work environment without being exposed to prejudgments and discriminatory behaviors
