Analysis of Rumi Studies in Turkey from 1930 to 2000

The works of Turkish researchers on Rumi reflects the fact that Rumi’s works and ideas are the focus of attention in Turkey and have an impact on Turkish culture and literature. In our article, which is a compilation of our doctoral studies, researches on Rumi in Turkey between 1930 and 2000 have been investigated more broadly considering chronological order and topics. Although the articles written at the beginning were weak from the scientific point of view, over time these have been removed and the quality of the articles in the recent period has increased considerably. Although the subjects of the first articles were repeated and imitated, the next works gave a new perspective to Rumi’s works and ideas. It is observed that Rumi’s ideas have an increasingly important place in Turkey, and that the work of Turkish researchers has improved both in terms of contentment and in terms of belief.
