OVERİN SKLEROZE STROMAL TÜMÖRÜ

Skleroze stromal tümör (SST) ilk kez 1973 yılında Chalvardjian ve Scully tarafından tanımlanmış nadir bir ovaryan stromal tümördür. SST tanımlayıcı terimi bu tümördeki selüler alanların kollojenöz skleroza maruziyete meyilli olmasından dolayıdır. SST lerin %80 ininden fazlası yaşamın iki ve üçüncü dekadlarında görülür. SST genellikle hormon inaktif, fakat bazı vakalarda gebelik, androjenik manifestasyonlar ve endometrial karsinom ile birlikteliği vardır. SST'li hastalardaki en sık görülen klinik semptom menstrüel düzensizliktir. SST tipik olarak unilateral görülür, nadiren de bilateraldir.
