Ülkemizde arazi toplulaştırma çalışmalarına 1961 yılında başlanmasına rağmen yeterince başarılıolunamamıştır. Çünkü arazi toplulaştırması çalışmaları arazi bölünmesi, hukuki sebepler, nüfus artışı vesosyo-ekonomik yapıdan dolayı periyodik olarak yapılamamıştır. Bu nedenle söz konusu çalışmada arazitoplulaştırmasının önemi tartışılmıştır.

Although land consolidation studies were started in 1961 in our country success of the studies werenot enough. The reason of insufficient success was due to the social-ekonomical structure, populationincrease, divided land and legal cause, that were resulted in lack of the periodic implinen tation for theland consolidation studies. Therefore, in this paper land consolidation necessity was discussed.
