Bu araştırmada bilişsel psikoloji bulguları ışığında sufilerce uygulanan zikir ritüeli incelenmiştir. Zikir ve bilişsel yetiler arasında karşılıklı bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Zikir ritüelinin her aşamasında ardışık olarak farklı bilişsel yetiler devreye girmektedir. Buna karşılık zikirde uygulanan yöntemler bilişsel yetilerin performansını artırmaktadır. Zikir ritüelinde oluşan dini algı sonucu kişinin iç dünyasında zikredilen kelimelerle ilişkili birtakım bilgiler oluşmaktadır. Zikir dışarıdan bakıldığında belli dini kelimelerin tekrarından oluşan monoton bir yapı gibi görünse de zikreden kişinin benliğinde değişim ve dönüşüme neden olan dinamik bir bilgi kaynağıdır. Zikir yalnız bilinci değil aynı zamanda bilinçdışını da etkilemektedir. Olumlu etkilerine karşılık zikirde yanılsamalar görülebilir. Bu nedenle düzenli olarak uygulanan zikir ritüeli tecrübeli bir kişinin denetiminde gerçekleştirilmelidir.

SUFÎLERCE KENDİNİ DÖNÜŞTÜRME EĞİTİMİ OLARAK UYGULANAN ZİKİR RİTÜELİNİN BİLİŞSEL PSİKOLOJİ AÇISINDAN ANALİZİ

In this study, the ritual of Zikr applied by sufis has investigated in terms of perspective of cognitive psychological findings. There is a mutual relationship between zikr and cognitive abilities. Different cognitive abilities activates to be consecutive from begining to the end of zikr. In contrast, the methods used in zikr increases the performance of cognitive abilities. Religious information acquires depending on the religious perception of internal origin in zikr ritüal. When viewed from outside, zikr seems like monotonous structure consisting of a repetition of certain religious words but zikr is dynamic source of informations causing changes and transformations in the religious's inner word. Zikr is not only conscious but also affects unconscious. Against positive effects, illusions can be seen in zikr. Therefore, regular zikr practice should be controlled by the supervision of an experienced zikr ritual person.
