İneklerde Retensiyo Sekundinarum Proflaksisi Üzerine Butafosfan ve Vitamin B12’nin Birlikte Uygulanmasının Etkisi

Bu çalışmanın amacı ineklerde Retensiyo sekundinarum'un proflaksisi üzerine Butafosfan ve Vitamin B12kombinasyonunun etkisini belirlemekti. Klinik olarak sağlıklı 114 gebe Holstein ırkı inek, tahmin edilen buzağılamadan yedi gün önce rastgele olarak iki deney grubuna ayrıldı. Deneme Grubuna (DG, n=57) Butafosfan (100mg/ml) ve Vitamin B12(0,05 mg/ml) kombinasyonunu tahmin edilen buzağılamadan bir hafta önce 3 ardaşık gün günde bir kez ve buzağılama gününde derialtı 5 ml/100 kg vücut ağırlığı dozunda uygulandı. Kontrol Grubuna (KG), DG'ninkine benzer şekilde serum fizyolojik solüsyonu enjekte edildi. Beta hidroksi bütirik asit (BHBA) konsantrasyonunu belirlemek için tahmin edilen buzağılamadan yedi gün önce ve postpartum 0. ile 3. günlerde ineklerden kan alındı. Postpartum 0 ve 3. günde DG'deki ineklerin serum BHBA konsantrasyonları KG'deki ineklerden daha düşüktü (P

The Effects of Butaphosphan and Vitamin B12 Combination on the Prophlaxis of Retained Placenta in Cows

The objectives of this study were to determine the effects of Butaphosphan and Vitamin B12 combination on the prophlaxy of retained placenta in cows. 114 clinically healthy pregnant Holstein cows were assigned randomly into two experiment groups at seven day before expected calving. In Trial Group (Group T; n=57), butaphosphan (100mg/ml) and Vitamin B12 (0.05 mg/ml) compound was applied at a dose of 5 ml/100 kg of body weight s.c., once a day for 3 consecutive days one week before expected calving date, and at calving day. Control Group (Group C; n = 57) was received injections of saline solution in the same way that the Group T. Blood was collected from cows at 7 day before their expected calving date and 0 day and 3 days postpartum to determine concentrations of beta-hydroxybutyric acid (BHBA). The cows in Group T had lower (P
