Endokrinoloji ve Nefroloji

Endokrin hastalıklar böbrek işlevlerini değişik mekanizmalarla etkileyebilir. Hormon eksikliği veya fazlalığı tubüler transportu doğrudan etkileyebilir. Ayrıca, endokrin değişikliklerin dolaşımda yarattığı faklılıklar renal hemodinamiği ve sodyum transportunu etkileyebilir. Birçok değişiklik klinik olarak belirgin değildir; ama bazıları hayatı tehdit edebilir; bazıları da tanısal değer taşır.
