Çocuklarda Akut Otitis Media

Otitis media OM orta kulak inflamasyonu olup, çocuklarda üst solunum yolu enfeksiyonlarından sonra en sık görülen enfeksiyonlardır. Gerçek insidans aşırı tanı konulmasına veya aksine tanının gözden kaçırılması gibi nedenlerle sıklıkla her zaman doğru olarak saptanamaz. Akut inflamasyon Akut otitis media sonrasında uygun tedavi almış çocuklarda bile orta kulak efüzyonu belirli bir süre devam eder, bu nedenle bir süre izlem gerekir.
