Associating the Variables Related to Innovation with the Process of Developing Organizational Resilience

Today, the covid-19 pandemic, natural disasters, newly developing virtual currency exchanges, turmoil, which can be exemplified by sudden economic fluctuations, push organizations to struggle to exist in an unpredictable environment. Organizations have become much more fragile in this new field of struggle, which requires determining the direction of change at the strategic management level. The flexibility of organizations can be expressed with the concept of organizational resilience framework. Organizations that can turn the turbulences in their favor for innovation and change by giving flexible responses in the face of the turbulences will be able to survive. The main purpose of the research is to correlate the organizational resilience development process with the variables related to innovation. At the end of the study, it has been revealed that the most critical component of the adaptation capacity, which is the source of flexible responses, is innovation and that the resilience of the organization will increase if the culture of innovation is a strong component of the organizational culture. It has also been suggested that innovation culture is one of the general indicators of organizational resilience. In this context, it becomes the basic condition for organizations to develop this capacity by investing in their innovation culture.
