Sakarya Nehri Çeltikçe Çayında Yaşayan Leuciscus cephalus L., 1758un Böbrek ve Gonadlarında Ağır Metal Birikimi

Bu çalışmada, Çeltikçe Çayı\'nda (Sakarya Nehri) yaşayan Leuciscus cephalus (L., 1758) bireylerinin böbrek ve gonadlarında Cu, Cd, Pb ve Zn\'nin birikim düzeyleri araştırılmıştır. Ağır metallerin dokulardaki birikimi, diferansiyel puls anodik sıyırma voltametrisi (DPASV) ile tespit edilmiştir. Çeltikçe Çayı\'ndaki Leuciscus cephalus\'ta tespit edilen Cd (böbrek: 0,71 ppm; gonad: 5,20 ppm), Pb (böbrek: 3,99 ppm; gonad: 31,10 ppm) ve Zn (böbrek: 291,00 ppm; gonad: 183,51 ppm) düzeylerinin kabul edilebilir limit değerlerin üstünde, Cu\'nun (böbrek: 1,60 ppm; gonad: 4,74 ppm) ise kabul edilebilir limit değerlerin altında olduğu saptanmıştır.

Heavy Metal Accumulation in Kidneys and Gonads of Leuciscus cephalus L., 1758 Living in Çeltikçe Stream of Sakarya River

This study deals with the determination of Cu, Cd, Pb and Zn levels in Leuciscus cephalus (L., 1758) living in Çeltikçe Stream of Sakarya River. The heavy metal accumulation in the tissue of the fish was determined with the use of Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV). The levels of the heavy metals found in kidneys and gonads of the fish were as follows: Cd 0.71 and 5.20 ppm; Pb 3.99 and 31.10 ppm and Zn 291.00 and 183.51 ppm. These values were observed to be higher than the acceptable standards. However the level of Cu (1.61 ppm in kidneys and 4.74 ppm in gonads) was lower than the acceptable limits.
