Bu çalışmada, Balıkesir Üniversitesi Necatibey Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı\'nda, 2009–2010 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının iletişim becerilerinin cinsiyetlerine, mezun oldukları lise türüne ve insanlarla ilişki kurmakta zorluk çekip/çekmediklerine göre farklılık olup/olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Araştırma, 39 kadın, 27 erkek olmak üzere toplam 66 öğretmen adayı üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Korkut (1996) tarafından geliştirilen İletişim becerilerini değerlendirme ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, t-testi ve öğrencilerin iletişim becerileri algılarını belirlemek amacı ile ortalama ve standart sapma puanları hesaplanmıştır. In this study, whether communicative skill perceptions of Music Education Department students in Balıikesir University Necatibey Education Faculty differ in relation to their gender, the high school that they graduated from and their competency in communicating with people. This study was conducted on 39 women and 27 men who are pre-service teachers. Communication Skills Assessment Scale which was developed by Korkut (1996) was used as the data gathering tool. While analyzing the data, t-test was used and in order to learn about the communicative skills of students Standard deviation and average was calculated as well. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 packet software. Findings of the current research suggests that communicative skills of pre-service music teachers is of average level.
