Bu çalışmada Keban Baraj Gölünde yaşayan Barbus rajanorum mystaceus (Heckel, 1843)\'da hematolojik inceleme yapılmıştır. Çalışma, Ocak 1997 ile Aralık 1998 tarihleri arasında aylık periyotlar halinde iki yıl sürmüştür. Herbir balıktan kan örneği alındıktan sonra hematolojik analizler yapılmış; sonra ise balıkların yaş, uzunluk, ağırlık ve eşey gibi biyolojik özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. Alınan kan örneklerinden total eritrosit, total lökosit, total trombosit, hemoglobin miktarı, hematokrit değer, MCV, MCH, MCHC kan parametreleri ve herbir kan örneğinden hazırlanan kan preparatlarından ise lökosit formülleri tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen kan parametrelerinin yaş, uzunluk, ağırlık, eşey ve mevsimlere göre dağılımı belirlenmiştir.

In this study, the blood parameters of Barbus rajanorum mystaceus (Heckel, 1843) living in Keban Dam Lake were investigated. The study was monthly carried out for a period of two years from January 1997 to December 1998. Age, length, weight and sex of fish were determined after their blood were collected for haematological analyses. As haematologic analyses, total amount of erythrocytes, leucocytes, thrombocytes, haemoglobin, haematocrit and MCV, MCH and MCHC parameters were investigated from blood samples. In addition, the formulas of leucocytes were examined from blood preparates that were preparated from each blood sample. The obtained blood parameters were examined according to age, length, weight, sex of fish and season.
