Kozak Yöresi, Kozak (Yukarıbey) köyü merkez olmak üzere 8 yerleşim birimini içine alır. Yöre doğal ortam bakımından bir havza niteliğinde olup, fıstık çamı ziraatı, granit taşı işletmeciliği ve orman işçiliği gibi ekonomik faaliyetler esas geçim faaliyetlerini oluşturmaktadır. Bundan dolayı yöre doğal ortam şartlarına bağlı olarak ekonomik nitelik kazanmıştır.

Kozak region together with Kozak (Yukarıbey) as the central village covers 8 settlement units. The region is in the form of basin as regards to natural geography: the economic activities dominating the region are as follows: pine nut agriculture, granite processing and forestry. The region has gained economic importance due to its natural environmental conditions.
