Çokseslilik, günümüzde müzik yazısında çeşitli şifrelerle ifade edilmektedir. Bunlardan biri de harf sistemidir. Özellikle tonal dizilerde yazılmış okul müziğinde, caz müziği ve popüler müzikte kullanılan harf sisteminin, diğer şifreleme yöntemleri ile birlikte müzik öğretmenliği programında öğretimi, geleceğin öğretmenlerinin gelişimine önemli katkılar sağlayacaktır.

Today, polyphony is expressed by various ciphers. One of them is the letter system. Particularly teaching of the letter system which is used in the school music, jazz and popular music together with the other cipher methods in the music teacher program will provide important contributions to the development of the teachers of future.
