Çeşitli dozlardaki radyasyonun, Ekizl ayçiçeği(Helianthus annuus L.) çeşidi M2 generasyonuna ait tohum verimi, bitki boyu, tabla çapı, bin tohum ağırlığı, yağ oranı ve yağ verimi gibi verim öğeleri üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Tohum ve yağ veriminde özellikle 50 kradlık dozda radyasyonun etkisi istatistiksi olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Diğer verim öğelerinde ise radyasyonun önemli bir etkisi görülmemiştir.

The effect of varying doses of radiation on the yield component of M2 generation of Ekizl sunflower(Helianthus Annuus L.) variety such as seed yield, plant height , head diameter, weight Per thousand seeds, oil percent, husk percent and oil yield was investigated. The radiation effect especially with the dose of 50 krad on both seed and oil yield was found to be statistically significant. No significant radiation effect was seen on other yield components.
