Kanser Hastalarının Semptom Yönetiminde Mobil Uygulamalarla Semptom Raporlama

Hastaların hastalık sürecinde var oldukları ortamlarından hastalık ya da tedavi ilişkili semptomları bildirmeleri “semptom raporlama”dır. Semptom raporlama amacıyla web destekli uygulamalar ya da mobil uygulamalar giderek artan bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Mobil uygulamaların, semptom raporlama ve raporlanan bu semptomlara yönelik olarak bakım ve tedavi uygulamalarının planlanması amacıyla kanserli hastalarda kullanımı oldukça yaygındır. Bu uygulamalar; kanserli bireyin hastalık ve tedavi sürecinde semptomu yaşadığında bildirmesi ve hızlı şekilde değerlendirilip semptom yönetiminin sağlanmasına katkı sağlayacağı için hasta, sağlık profesyonelleri ve sağlık sistemine pek çok avantajlar sağlar. Bu çalışma ile kanserli hastalarda semptom raporlama amacıyla mobil uygulamaların kullanım durumu, semptom raporlamanın avantaj ve dezavantajları ele alınmıştır.
