Akupunktur
Akupunktur kelime manası olarak “iğnelemek” şeklinde tercüme edilebilir. Günümüzde bilimsel metod ve temellere oturtulan akupunkturun yaklaşık 4000 - 5000 yıllık bir tedavi olduğu ileri sürülmektedir. İnsan vücudunun kendisinde olan iyileştirme gücünü harekete geçirdiği ve bu sayede tedavi ettiği kabul edilmektedir. Ülkemizde resmen kabul edilen akupunktur tedavisi Dünya Sağlık Örgütünün belli aralıklarla yayınladığı uygulama listesi dahilinde uygulanmaktadır. Genelde vücut ya da kulak bölgelerine uygulanmaktadır. Uygulamasının tıp hekimlerince kolay olması, tedavi maliyetinin çok düşük olması ve hemen hemen hiçbir yan etkisi veya komplikasyonu olmayan bir tedavidir. Bu avantajlarından dolayı ülkemizde gittikçe yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu nedenlerden dolayı özellikle sosyal güvenlik kuruluşlarınca desteklenmeli ve gittikçe yaygınlaştırılmalıdır.
Acupuncture
The word acupuncture can be translated as injecting. Acupuncture that has been placed on scientific methods and foundations is thought to have a background of Medical treatment for about 4000-5000 years. It is accepted that acupuncture activates the curing capability of the human body and that it can cure the body easily this way. The acupuncture treatment accepted in Turkey is carried out according to the application list of the World Health Organization which is published regularly. It is generally applied to the body or ear. It is a kind of treatment that has very low cost to the patient and which has almost no side effect cumplication. It is becoming more and more common in our country owing to the advantages mentioned above. Because of these reasons it should be supported by the social insurrence foundations and be widened much more.
