DENTİN BONDİNGLİ VE BONDİNGSİZ UYGULANMIŞ BİR KOMPOZİT REÇİNENİN NEDEN OLDUĞU MİKROSIZINTI VE PULPA YANITI MICROLEAKA GE AND PULP RESPONSE OF A COMPOSITE RESIN APPLIED WITH AND WITHOUT DENTIN BONDING AGENT
AbstractA restoration with a material which has good bonding capabilities will minimize gap formation and microleakage between tiie tooth filing and thereby reduce the risk of recurrent caries and pulp injury. In this study, theKey words: Dentin bonding agents, composite resin, dental pulp.pulpal responses to a composite material (P-50, 3M) applied with and without a dentin bonding agent (Scotchbond-2, 3M) was investigated in human teeth. At the end of 6th. week, the teeth were extracted and evaluated under a light microscope following histopathological processing. The results indicated that the pulpal responses to two groups were similar. The statistical evaluation also showed that the difference between two groups was not significant (P>0.05). Hiere was a destruction in odontoblast layer combined with hyperemic blood vessels. Bacterial penetration was observed on tíie floor and walls of cavities.
