Mine yüzey pürüzlülüğü üzerine yapay gastrik sıvının etkisinin in vitro olarak incelenmesi
Bu in vitro çalışmanın amacı; yapay gastrik sıvı içerisinde 10 dakika ve 24 saat bekletildikten sonra mine yüzey pürüzlülüğünde meydana gelen değişikliklerin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada 12 adet sürmemiş, insan 3. molar dişi kullanıldı. Dişler, çekim sonrası üzerindeki doku artıkları ve debrislerden arıtıldı, distile suda yıkandı ve otopolimerizan akrilik rezine gömüldü. Örnekler; bukko-lingual yönde ortadan ikiye bölündü Microcut, Metkon, Turkey , bir yarısı kontrol grubu diğer yarısı da deney grubu olarak ayrıldı. Dişlerin bukkal yüzeyleri, düzgün mine yüzeyleri elde etmek için su altında 600–1200 grenli silikon karbid kağıtlar kullanılarak düzeltildi. Örneklerin başlangıç yüzey pürüzlülük değerleri ölçüldü Perthometer M2, Germany . Daha sonra deney grubundaki örnekler yapay gastrik sıvıda pH 1,14 , kontrol grubundaki örnekler ise distile suda 10 dakika ve 24 saat bekletildi ve her bir bekletme süresini takiben yüzey pürüzlülük değerleri ölçüldü. Paired t testi ile yapılan istatistiksel inceleme sonucuna göre; kontrol ve deney gruplarının yüzey pürüzlülükleri arasındaki fark anlamlı bulunmuştur. Pürüzlülük değerlerinin zamana bağlı değişimini incelemek amacıyla yapılan paired t testi analizi sonucunda deney grubunda 0, 10. dakika ve 24. saat ölçümleri arasındaki fark anlamlı bulunurken; kontrol grubunda herhangi bir fark gözlenmemiştir. Dişlerin gastrik sıvıyla kısa ve uzun süreli olarak temas etmesi sonucunda mine yüzey pürüzlülüğünde önemli bir artış gözlenmektedir
In vitro Investigation of Simulated Gastric Juice Effects on Surface Roughness of Enamel
The objective of this in vitro study was to measure changes in surface roughness of enamel after immersion in simulated gastric juice. Twelve unerupted and freshly extracted human third molars were used. Teeth were scraped of any remaining debris, washed in distilled water and embeded into acrylic resin. The specimens were divided bucco-lingually into two pieces, one half served as a control, and the other half as experimental. Buccal side of the tooth specimens was assinged as enamel and ground wet to achive a flat enamel surface using 600, 1200 grid siliconecarbid paper. Baseline surface profiles of the enamel specimens were recorded. Then the experimental specimens were stored in simulated gastric juice and the control specimens were stored in distilled water for 10 min and 24 h. the surface roughness was measured after each exposure. According to paired-t-test, the differences between surface roughness of experimental group and control group were statistically significant. Paired-t-test used for analysing the change of roughness measures against time showed that significant differences occured in values of experimental group at baseline and at 10 min and at 24 h. there was no significant difference for control group. During short and long period of contact with gastric juice significantly reduced roughness of enamel.
