Feldspatik seramiğe rezin simanın kesme bağlanma direncine asit, ER:YAG ve ND:YAG lazer uygulamaları ve silanizasyonunun etkisi

Feldspatik içeriğe sahip tam seramik restorasyonlar›n klinik başar›s› büyük ölçüde diş dokusu ve restoratif materyal aras›nda oluşan rezin siman bağlant›s›na bağl›d›r. Bu çal›şma, feldspatik porselen ve resin siman aras›nda oluşan kesme bağlanma direncine hidroflorik asit, Er:YAG ve Nd:YAG lazer yüzey muamelesi ve silan uygulamas›n›n etkisini incelemek amac›yla yap›ld›. Araşt›rma kapsam›nda 7 x 3 mm boyutlar›nda toplam 90 feldspatik seramik Noritake disk kullan›ld›.

The Effect of Acid, ER:YAG, ND:YAG Laser Treatments and Silanization Regimen on Shear Bond Strength of Resin Cement to Feldspathic Ceramic

Clinical performances of metal-free fixed-partial-dentures FPD made of feldspathic ceramic substantially rely on the adhesion of the resin cements to these restorative materials and tooth tissues. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of hydrofluoric acid, Er:YAG, Nd:YAG laser surface treatments, and silanization regimen on shear bond strength of resin cement to feldspathic ceramic. Ninety feldspathic ceramic discs with a diameter of 7 x 3 mm Noritake were used in this study. The experimentals were assigned to 6 experimental groups n=15 . Group 1; etched with 9.5% hydrofluoric HF acid. Group 2; surface irradiation by the Er:YAG laser, with 2940 nm wavelength, power output; 3 W 300 mJ, 10 Hz for 1 min. Group 3; surface irradiation by the Nd:YAG laser with 1064 nm wavelength, power output; 1 W 100 mJ, 10 Hz for 1 min. Group 4; silan Rely X Ceramic Primer S application after HF acid etching. Group 5; silan application after Er:YAG laser irradiation. Group 6; silan application after ND:YAG laser irradiation. After surface treatments, the resin cement Rely X ARC was constructed as shaped of cylinder approximately 3 x 3 mm in dimensions on specimen’s surfaces. All specimens were stored in distilled water at 37°C for 24 hours and thermocycled between 5 and 55°C for 500 cycles. The shear bond test was performed with a universal test machine with cross-head speed of 0.5 mm/min. Results of this study were showed that the highest bond values were obtained from HF acid etched specimens included either silane applying 12.12 MPa or not 8.57 MPa . The lowest bond strengths were obtained from the Er:YAG laser treated group which were not include a silane agent 2.07 MPa . Application of silane was significantly increased the shear bond strength in all groups p
