Abiyotik Strese Karşı Tohuma Manyetik Alan Uygulaması: Manyetoşartlandırma

Abiyotik stres faktörleri, tohum çimlenmesi ve erken fide büyümesi gibi bitki büyümesinin kritik aşamalarında tarımsal üretim sistemlerine önemli etkiler yaparak verim üzerinde azaltıcı etkiler yapmaktadır. Bu problemi çözmek için tohumlara ekim öncesi uygulanan kimyasal ve fiziksel işlemler, tuzluluk ve kuraklık koşulları altında çimlenme hızını arttıran ve eşzamanlı çıkışı sağlayan ümitvar bir tarımsal stres yönetim tekniği olarak hızla gelişim göstermektedir. Tohumlara uygulanan fiziksel yöntemlerden biri olan manyetik alan uygulaması, stresli çevresel koşullara karşı tarımsal ürünlerin toleransını artıran bir uygulama olarak son yıllarda öne çıkmaktadır. Uygulanan manyetik alan, tohumlarla etkileşime girmekte, metabolizmayı hızlandırmakta, sonuçta çimlenme, birincil ve ikincil metabolitlerin aktivasyonu, enzim aktiviteleri, besin ve su alımını iyileştirmektedir. Sonuçta manyetik alan uygulamaları sadece bitki büyüme ve gelişmesinin erken dönemlerinde değil tüm gelişim süreci boyunca bitkilere olumlu etki etmektedir. Bu derlemede, bu konuda yapılmış uluslararası alandaki az sayıdaki çalışma biraraya getirilmiş ve incelenmiştir.
