Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, Lu ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen “Hemşirelikte Mesleğe Bağlılık Ölçeği” nin (Nursing Professional Commitment Scale) Türkçe formunun, geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olup olmadığını incelemektir.Yöntem: Metodolojik bir çalışma olup, Nisan - Haziran 2009 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ölçek, 26 madde ve 3 alt boyuttan (çaba gösterme istekliliği, meslek üyeliğini sürdürme, hedef ve değerlere inanç) oluşan 4’lü Likert tipinde bir ölçektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 266 hemşire oluşturmaktadır.Bulgular: Ölçeğin geçerliği, kapsam ve yapı geçerliği ile sınanmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliliği için açımlayıcı faktör analizi kullanılmış, analiz sonucunda toplam varyansın % 47.61’inin ölçeğin orijinalindeki gibi üç faktör tarafından açıklandığı saptanmıştır. Verilerin faktör analizine uygunluğu için KMO değeri .88, Barlett Sphericity testi χ2 değeri ise 2956.34 (p<.000) bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin güvenirlik düzeyi ise iç tutarlılık, madde analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Ölçeğin tümü için Cronbach Alpha katsayısı .90 iken, “çaba gösterme istekliliği” alt boyutu için .88, “meslek üyeliğini sürdürme” alt boyutu için .77, “hedef ve değerlere inanç” alt boyutu için .67’dir.Sonuç: Hemşirelikte Mesleğe Bağlılık Ölçeği Türkçe formunun 26 maddelik özgün formu ile aynı alt boyutları kapsadığı ve geçerlik-güvenirlik sonuçlarının kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir.

In this study, adaptation to Turkish and analysis of its reliability and validity of the book “Nursing Professional Commitment Scale” . Methods: Type of research is methodologically and it was conducted between April-June 2009. Original form of the scale is responded with quaternary Likert type structure that has 26 article and three subscales (desire to effort, maintain to professional membership, devotion to the goals and values). Data of the research is collected from 266 nurses. Results: Assessment of the validity of the scale is performed by validity of content. Three factors were obtained as in the original scale that revealed % 47.61 of total variance, as the result of the exploratory factor analysis that is performed for validity of structure – context of scale. KMO sample coefficient of concordance is found as .88, Barlett Sphericity test χ2 value is calculated as 2956.34 (p< .000) at the performing of suitability of data for factor analysis. Reliability level of the scale is assessed by internal consistency and item analysis. While the calculated Cronbach Alpha factor for the total scale is .90; calculated Cronbach Alpha factors for subscales are, .88 for “desire to effort”, .77 for maintain to professional membership, .67 for devotion to the goals and values. Conclusion: It’s determined that, Nursing Professional Commitment Scale which has the same subscales with the original one could be use and has acceptable level of validity and reliability.
