Küresel İklim Değişikliğinin Origanum minutiflorum Schwarz & P. H. Davis’in Coğrafi Dağılımına Etkisinin Maximum Entropi Algoritması ile Tahmini
Öz Ekolojik niş modellemeleri (ENM) son yıllarda koruma planlamasının önemli bir parçası olmuştur. Ekonomik önemi olan türlerin iklim değişikliğinden nasıl etkileneceğinin belirlenmesi bu türlerin sürdürülebilir kullanımının planlanabilmesi için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Türlerin GPS kayıtları ile bu alanlara ait çevresel değişkenlerin dijital katmanları arasındaki ilişkiden yola çıkarak türlerin mevcut potansiyel yayılışları ile farklı senaryolara göre herhangi bir gelecekteki potansiyel yayılışları ENM ile tahmin edilebilmektedir. Bu çalışmamızda ekonomik öneme sahip bir endemik bitki olan ve Doğu Akdeniz’de yayılış gösteren Origanum minutiflorum Schwarz & P. H. Davis türünün iklim değişikliğinden nasıl etkileneceğinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Literatürden, arazi çalışmalarından ve GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) veri tabanından elde edilen türe ait varlık verileri ile WorldClim veri tabanından elde edilen iklimsel değişkenler kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen tüm veriler ile Maximum Entropi yaklaşımı kullanılarak türün günümüz koşullarındaki potansiyel yayılış alanları belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra, türün iklim değişiminden nasıl etkileneceğini belirlemek için beşinci IPCC raporu baz alınarak oluşturulmuş olan MIROC5 (Model for Interdisciplinary Research On Climate) iklim değişimi senaryosuna göre türün 2070 yılındaki potansiyel yayılış alanı modellenmiştir.
