EM Kirlilik Ölçümü İçin Geniş Bant ve Frekans-Seçici Ölçümlerin Karşılaştırılması

Baz istasyonları, TV vericileri, kablosuz cihazlar gibi aktif antenlerin sayısı arttıkça insanlar elektromanyetik maruziyetten ve sağlıklarından giderek daha fazla endişe etmeye başlamıştır. Bunun bir sonucu olarak, maruz kalınan elektromanyetik maruziyet seviyesinin ölçülmesi gerekli hale gelmiştir. EM kirliliğinin maruziyet düzeyini ölçmek için kullanılan, geniş bant ve frekans seçici diğer adıyla dar bant olmak üzere iki yaygın ölçüm yöntemi vardır. Bu çalışmada, frekans seçici ölçümleri gerçekleştirebilen ve sonucunda güçleri toplayıp toplam maruz kalma seviyesini hesaplayabilen bir yazılım çözümü geliştirdik. Daha sonra, bir elektromanyetik alan probu ile elde edilen geniş bant ölçüm sonuçları ile bir spektrum analizörü ve bir mini-bikonik anten kullanarak gerçekleştirilen frekans seçici ölçüm yöntemi ile elden edilen sonuçları arasında iyi bir karşılaştırma yapılmıştır.

Comparison Between Broadband and Frequency-Selective Measurements for EM Pollution Survey

As the number of radiators such as base stations, TV transmitters, wireless devices increases, people are getting more and more concerned about the exposure and their health. As a result, it has become necessary to measure the level of electromagnetic exposure that is being exposed. There are two common methods to measure the exposure level of EM pollution; broadband and frequency selective, alias narrow-band, measurement methods. In this work, we developed a software solution that can perform frequency-selective measurements and finally can collect the powers and calculate the total exposure level. Thereafter, we made a good comparison between broadband measurement results obtained with a field probe and frequency-selective ones which are obtained by using a spectrum analyzer and a mini-biconical antenna.
