Servet-i Fünûn dönemi, Yahya Kemâl’in şiir anlayışını şekillendiren ilk evredir. Bu dönemi yaşayan ve dönem öncesini eserlerle tanıyan şair, 1903 yılında Avrupa’ya gider.1912 yılında yurda dönen Yahya Kemâl, Paris’te aldığı eğitimle, milli değerleri merkeze yerleştirerek Türk şiirine yoğunlaşır. Getirdiği yeni bakış açısıyla, Türk şiirinin gelişimine önemli katkılar sağlar. Bu çalışmada, Yahya Kemâl’in batıdan aldığı eğitimle Türk şiirine kazandırdığı bakış açısı, şiir anlayışı, eski ve yeni şiire bakışı incelenmiştir.

It is the period of Servet-i Fünûn that shapes Yahya Kemâl’s perception of poetry. Living this era and learning the pre-period with works, the poet goes to Europe in 1903. He turns back to the country in 1912 and with the education he gets from Paris he focuses on Turkish poetry by putting national values to the core. He contributes a lot to the progress of Turkish poetry with the his new point view. In this work the point of view that Yahya Kemâl brings in Turkish poetry with the education he gets from west, perception of peotry, outlook on old and new poetry are examined
