Ozmatik basıncın bazı kültür bitkilerinin erken gelişme dönemindeki etkileri II. Prolin, klorofil birikimi ve zar dayanıklılığı
Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü Fizyoloji Laboratuvarı Hidroponic RAF Sistemi koşullarında yürütülen bu çalışmada, büyütme ortamındaki 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 ve 10 mBar'lık ozmotik basınçların mısır (Zea mays), yonca (Medicago sativa) ve mavi ayrık (Agropyron intermedium) gibi bitkilere ait çeşitlerin erken gelişme döneminde prolin, klorofil-a ve klorofil-b içerikleri ile hücre zarı dayanıklılıklarına etkisi incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar, mısır çeşitlerinin en iyi değerleri verdiğini, onları yoncanın izlediğini, mavi ayrığın ise özellikle bu dönemde 4 mBar'dan sonraki ozmotik basınçlarda (NaCl yoğunluğunda) yaşayamadığını ortaya koymuştur. İncelenen prolin ve klorofil değerleri dayanıklı çeşitlerde oldukça yüksek bulunmuş, zar dayanıklılığı da benzer sonuçlar vermiştir.
Effects of osmotic pressure on early growing stages of some plants crop plants II.Proline, chlorophile accumulation and membrane integrity
In this study conducted under the Hidroponic RAF system conditions in physiology laboratuary of Field Crops Department of Agriculture Faculty, Ege University, effect of different osmotic pressures (0,2,4,6, 8,10 m Bar, NaCl) in growth medium on the proline, chlorophile a and b content and membrane integrities o f different crop c ultivars such as maize (Zea mays), alfalfa (Medicago sativa) and intermediate wheatgrass (Agropyron intermedium) at early growing stage. Results indicated that maise cultivars had the highest values and alfalfa followed them, whereas particularly at this stage intermediate wheatgrass could survive under these salt concentrations exceeding 4 mBar. Test results of proline, chlorophile-a and chlorophile-b contents were quite high in resistant crops and membrane integrity values were also in similar manner.
