Bu çalışma, annelerin bebek doğduktan sonra ilk 24 saat içinde verdikleri besinin, bebeği emzirme süresinin, emzirme sürelerine etki eden fa ktörlerin, ek gıdaya geçiş süresinin saptanması, annenin bebeğini emzirmesine etki edebilecek faktörlerin İncelenmesi amacıyla planlanmıştır. Bebek doğduktan sonra ilk 24 saat içinde, %51.22'sinin anne sütü aldığı, %45.37'stniu C-3 ay anne sütü ile beslendiği ve %40.49'unun 4 aydan önce ek besine başladığı saptanmıştır.

In this study we have planed; a to determine the food for the first twentyfour hours of infant, b to deterrnine the breast-feeding period, e to determine the factors which affect to the breast-feeding period, Our evaluation of the data shows that there are significantly important relation between the breast-feeding process and socio- economy level of the families and mothers khowladge about the breast-feeding process. In conclusion we find out that 51.22 % of patients were used breast-feeding for the first twentyfour hours of babies, 45.37 % of bables breast- feeding at least 0 - 3 mounth and 40.49 % start the supplement nutrient period before four mounths.
