Bu çalışma Naldöken mahallesinde ev kadınlarının ilk yardım gerektiren durumlara ilişkin deneyimlerini ve davranış drüntillerini in celemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Sonuçlar kadınlar tıbbi uygulamalar dan çok geleneksel folklorik yöntemlerle ilk yardım girişimlerinde bu lunduklarını. dolayısıyla konuya ilişkin bilgi eksikliklerini ve eğitim gereksinimerini göstermiştir

This study was designed to deterrnine the first aid practices of wornen on the occurrence of some aceidents. The results showed that sixty percent of women met with emergencey cases at least, but preferred traditional practices using folk medicines such as some herbs, vegetables and other materials, to medical ones. Study results indicated that public health managers and the community nurses increase their efforts in public health education programms about first aid by mass media or individual group education in health centers.
