Bu araştırma, Erzurum ili belediye sınırları içinde yaşayan evli ve çocuk sahibi olan kadınlar üzerinde tanımlayıcı olarak ve kesitsel biçimde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Ana-Çocuk Sağlığı ve Aile Planlaması Merkezine başvuran kadınlar, örneklem grubunu ise bu kadınlar arasından rastlantısal olarak seçilen 310 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre kadınların en çok kıyafet seçiminde 44.06 , en az ise nikâh türünde 0.45 karar verdikleri, karar verme durumlarına yaşın etkisinin olmadığı, eğitim düzeyinin ise; sağlık sorunlarıyla ilgilenme dışındaki tüm kararlara etkisinin olduğu saptanmıştır.
