Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının özel eğitim dersine yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek amacıyla geçerli ve güvenilir bir tutum ölçeği geliştirmektir. Bu amaçla ilgili literatür taraması yapıldı ve 34 maddelik madde havuzu oluşturuldu. Taslak ölçek uzman görüşlerine sunuldu, gerekli düzeltmeler yapılarak 33 maddelik taslak ölçek oluşturuldu. Taslak ölçek Kafkas Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 171 öğretmen adayına uygulandı. Yapı geçerliği için açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapıldı. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları ölçeğin 3 faktör altında 15 maddeden oluştuğunu gösterdi. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucundan, faktör yük değerlerinin .549 ile 779 arasında değiştiği ve toplam varyansın %52.971’ini açıkladığı belirlendi. Açımlayıcı faktör analizinin sonuçlarını test etmek için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapıldı. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini test etmek için güvenirlik analizi yapıldı.

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale to measure teacher candidates’ attitudes towards Special Education lessons. For this purpose, the relevant literature review was conducted and a scale with 34-items in the items pool was formed. Draft scale was presented to expert opinion and necessary adjustments, based on the experts’ feedbacks were made and 33-item draft scale was formed. The draft scale was applied to 171 teacher candidates studying at Kafkas University. For the construct validity, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were performed. The results of the exploratory factor analysis were shown that the scale, which was consisted of 15 items, fit under the three factor categories. It was determined that factor load values ranged between .549 and .779, and 52.971% of the total variance was explained by exploratory factor analysis. Reliability analysis was also conducted to test the reliability of the scale.
