Endoskopik Posterior Kordotomi Tekniğinin Ses Kalitesi Üzerine Etkisinin Subjektif ve Objektif Parametrelerle Değerlendirilmesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, Ocak 1997- Mart 2006 yılları arasında Çukurova Üniversitesi TıpFakültesi Kulak Burun Boğaz Anabilim Dalı’nda endoskopik posterior kordotomi (EPK) yapılanbilateral vokal kord paralizili hastaların ses kalitesi sonuçlarını araştırmak amaçlandı.Gereç ve Yöntem: 2 hastada bilateral kordotomi uygulanırken, 38 hastada unilateral kordotomiile yeterli havayolu açıklığı sağlandı. Postoperatif dönemde ses değişiklikleri tüm hastalardasubjektif olarak değerlendirilirken, 26 hastada objektif olarak incelendi. Subjective and Objective Evaluation of Voice Quality Following Endoscopic Posterior Cordotomy

Purpose: In present study, we investigated voice quality of the patients with bilateral vocal cordparalysis who had endoscopic posterior cordotomy operation between January 1997 and March2006 years in Ear-Nose-Throat Department of Çukurova University Medical Faculty. Methods: We performed bilateral cordotomy only in two patients, while the other 38 patientsunderwent unilateral cordotomy. In postoperative period, the changes of voice were investigatedsubjectively in all patients and objectively in 26 of them.
