Üst düzey yöneticilerin sahip olması gereken yönetsel yetkinliklerin belirlenmesine ilişkin ampirik bir çalışma

Üst düzey yöneticilerin sahip olması gereken yetkinlikler hem uygulayıcılar hem de ilgili araştırmacılar için yeni bir inceleme alanı olarak kabul edilmektedir. İşletmelerin istenen düzeyde performans gösterebilmeleri, özellikle üst düzey yöneticilerin bazı kritik yetkinliklere sahip olmalarını gerektirir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, üst düzey yöneticilerin sahip olmaları gereken yönetsel yetkinlikleri belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilgili teoriden hareketle bir model oluşturulmuştur ve modeli test etmek için Türk Otomotiv Sektöründe yer alan 323 firmayı kapsayan ampirik bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri anket yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde hem istatistiksel yöntemler hem de, yapısal eşitlik modelleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Lisrel 8.72 programı ile yapılan analizler sonucunda üst düzey yöneticilerin sahip olmaları gereken yönetsel yetkinlikler için geliştirilen model, beş örtük değişken altında toplanan 21 adet yetkinlikten oluşmaktadır ve modelin yapısal geçerliliğinin sağlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma, literatürde bu konuda yapılan çalışmaların azlığından kaynaklanan boşluğun doldurulmasına ve uygulayıcılara rehberlik edebilecek öneriler sunulmasına katkı sağlayabilir.

The competencies of executives have been new area of investigation from both practitioners and interested researchers. Businesses can perform that desired levels performance, especially senior managers to have some critical competencies requires. The purpose of this study, senior-level managers should have the managerial competencies are to identify. To achieve this objective, based on relevant theory, a model was created and model to test an empirical research was carried that covering 323 companies located in the Turkish Automotive Sector.Research data were obtained by questionnaire method. In the analysis of data both statistical methods and structural equation modeling technique were used. As a result of the analysis with LISREL 8.72 program, model developed for senior managers should have the managerial competencies, consist of that were collected 21-item competencies under five implicit variables and structural validity of the model was provided have been identified. This study, would contribute to fill the gap that research on this issue is caused by having a small number of in the literature and for practioners that suggestions offered may be guided.
