Diyabet Özyönetim Eğitimi, Grup Temelli Eğitim ve Bireysel Eğitim

Giriş: Diyabet görülme sıklığı; teknolojinin ilerlemesi ile hareketsiz yaşam ve beslenme biçimindeki değişiklik nedeniyle giderek artmaktadır. Diyabet özyönetim eğitimi (DÖYE), diyabet tedavisinin önemli bir yapı taşını oluşturmaktadır. Diyabet özyönetim eğitimi; diyabetli veya diyabet riski olan bireylerin hastalığı ve hastalıkla ilgili durumları başarılı bir şekilde yönetimi ve davranış değişikliği yapabilmesi için gerekli bilgi ve beceriyi kazanması amacıyla bir işbirliği sürecidir. Diyabet özyönetim eğitimi, bireysel veya grup temelli verilmektedir. Eğitim yöntemi seçiminin; eğitim şeklinin avantajı, dezavantajları ve uygulama amacının gözden geçirilerek yapılması önerilmektedir.

Introduction: The prevalence of diabetes, with the advancement of technology has increasing due to sedentary lifestyle and changes in the nutrition forms. Diabetes self-management education (DSME) are important a stone of building of diabetes treatment. DSME is a collaborative process through which people with or at risk for diabetes gain the knowledge and skills needed to modify their behavior and successfully self-manage the disease and its related conditions. DSME is practiced base on an individual or group.
