Modern dünya geleceğini garantiye alabilmek için ekonomiyi merkeze almış, bütün sistemlerini sürekli gelişim esasına dayanan doğrusal ilerleme paradigması altında tek bir hedefte kilitlemiştir. Bu koşullar altında topluma düşen görev sistemin sürekliliğini sağlayacak bireylerin yetiştirilmesidir. Kendini böyle bir sistem içinde bulan insan ise zamanla kendi varlık tanımlamasından uzaklaşmıştır. İnsanı merkezden uzaklaştıran bu yaklaşım, insanın yeniden kendi özüne dönerek kendi varlık yapısı ve niteliklerini gözden geçirmesini zorunlu kılar. Bireylerin kişiliklerinin şekillendiği çocukluk dönemi, toplumun gelecekteki niteliğinin temellerinin oluşturulması açısından önemlidir. Yeteneklerin geliştirilmesi ve eğilimlerinin doğru yönlendirilebilmesi için insanı doğru tanımak, varlık yapısı ve niteliklerini doğru kavramak gerekir. Bu nedenle çalışma kapsamında insana bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla yaklaşan felsefi antropoloji alanından yaklaşılmış, çocuk kavramı bu alanda ele alınmıştır. Gelecekte varlık bütünlüğüne sahip bir insan için bugünün çocuklarına nasıl bir çevre sunulması gerektiği üzerinde durulmuştur

The modern world has taken economy in its center in order to ensure its own future and has locked all of its systems to a single target under the paradigm of ‘linear progress’ based on the principle of ‘continuous improvement’. Under these circumstances, the duty that falls on the society is to educate individuals, who would ensure the continuity of the system. However, a person, who finds himself in such a system, moves away from identificating with his own existence as time passes. While this approach takes a person away from the center, it also requires a person to turn back to his essence and to review his own existential structure and charactheristics. Since the childhood period shapes the personalities of individuals, this period is important in the establishment of the foundations that would become the essence of the future of society. It is necessary to truly recognize human beings and grasp their existential structure and charactheristics to improve their skills and to correctly route their tendencies. Therefore, within the scope of this study to approach human with a holistic perspective, the concept of child is handled in the field of philosophical anthropology.
